I taught Emily in the ninth grade. I knew right away she was different and was going to change the world.
I watched her grow into a strong, intelligent, loving young woman throughout her high school years, and continued to stay in touch while she attended the College of Charleston. Last weekend I was honored to attend her college graduation party, and I knew I wanted to give her a key.
I chose HOPE because she gives me hope in the future! Also, I believe it's what she gives everyone she encounters.
