I have
Gifted a Giving Key
With the word
FEARLESS
My Story
When I received my fearless key as a present a few months ago, the idea of the word seemed to be something I didn't know if I could ever accomplish. Fear of the unkown and of the future has always been something to take over me.
My older sister Naomi was the most fearless person I know. She battled her cerebral palsy and other respiratory issues harder then anyone could imagine. She embodied the word fearless. Growing up she taught me courage and to look fear in the eye and charge it.
I always tried my best but the one fear I would never escape was losing my big sister. A few days ago my biggest fear became my reality. At the age of 25 Naomi is now gone and my world has been changed forever.
When my parents asked what I wanted to place with her, my bracelet popped into my mind immediately. I needed to pass it on to someone I knew to be fearless, and someone who taught me to try and be the same. I hope she’ll keep my word close to her as she watches over me from now on because I know she was fearless until the very end.
