My Story
Full disclosure, I'm writing this on behalf of my mom. I bought the key FAITH for my mom about four years ago after she was diagnosed with cancer. Our mom was a devout Catholic with incredibly strong faith and along with a bracelet I bought that said "Keep FU..ing Going," she wore the necklace.
Our mom was one of those rare gems that people were drawn towards. She was fun, kind, loving and forgiving... did I say fun? We kids would go out for dinner and drinks with her, only to see her end up at another table making new friends. We teased her for this, loved her for this and became just like her... now my 21 year old teases me.
Mom died in the summer of 2019, with all of us kids and grandkids by her side. We helped her through the last weeks with laughter, tears, food, family and honest pain. Over 250 people attended her funeral, a 74 year old woman that was more popular than her four children put together. A couple weeks later while sorting through her things, I found the key. I gave the key to one of my mom's best friends- she had seen her wear it and felt very touched by the gesture. Sometimes I wish I had kept the key as a memory and then I realize it would not be reaching it's full potential ... and Mom would have wanted it to be forwarded to the next person in need.
