I was given a key for my graduation gift, which is when I first heard about The Giving Keys. I was in love with the idea of paying it forward.
I thought it would be further down the line, but my roommate has been having some hard times and as a result must move out of state. I know she really doesn't want to, and so I wanted to do something for her to help remind her that she is loved and strong, and that this could be a really good thing for her. So as a way to pay my gift forward, as well as support their cause, I bought her a key with the word FAITH. She has such a strong and steadfast faith, especially with what she has had to deal with lately. This key is just a symbol for her, telling her how much I admire her faith, as well as a reminder that through all this, God has her in his living hands.
