My grandfather has cancer. He is not doing too well and is very sick. I needed my key with "Peace" on it to help me get through each and every day. I even turned it into my prayer key, meaning I would hold my key and pray for my grandfather and my family to get through this and never lose hope. I knew everyone was going through the pain and sadness, but I still felt like I needed my key more until last weekend. I was participating in the Dogwood Festival in Woodville, TX where I was a duchess. This was a big deal to my family so my grandmother convinced my grandfather to get in the car to come see me. When they arrived, I saw how much this was affecting her. I could tell she needed peace more than I did, so I gave her my key. She wears it around her neck as I did and already it is working. Today we got news that my grandfather's pain medicine was increased so his pain level is lower, and he even ate breakfast and lunch. My key has helped me deal with this hard time in life and is now helping my grandmother.
