8 months ago William was diagnosed with cancer. We had only been married 9 months. He was only 26. We were supposed to be traveling, personalizing our home, planning a family, doing all the 'stuff' newlyweds do. Instead we were devastated. We were now planning surgeries, treatments, scans, planning our lives around this disease that could have easily taken him away from us. It was an incredibly scary time for us. But we knew GOD had a bigger plan. He was by our side every step of the way, just like he always is. We saw his presence in the quiet moments, in the sad and lonely moments, when others, even strangers, reached out to help, in the outpouring of prayer that we felt right from the start - he was and still is everywhere. After 2 surgeries, hundreds of hours of chemo treatments, numerous scans and doctors appointments, we're finally here. According to all the tests, William is cancer free! To everyone who offered support and prayed for us, thank you! It made a substantial difference and we are forever grateful for everything. Now these keys that say 'cure' are going to a family that breaks our heart to give them to. But, we know this is just a bump in the road for them too. Isaiah 41:10 - So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your GOD. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
