For my birthday this year, my husband gave me a FEARLESS giving key. I wasn't really sure why this word chose me, but it was soon made clear.
I had the opportunity to minister during our Sunday morning church service. I have ministered numerous times before at a youth ministry that I'm involved in but I have never ministered in front of my entire church. I didn't realize how nervous and fearful I was until Friday, but Sunday came and I got up and ministered. The whole time I felt as if what I was saying was not getting through to them. I spoke about faith and about believing in your dreams because God placed them there. Before the service ended I had a song played by one of my favorite worship leaders and while it was playing I had my FEARLESS key in my hand and I heard the Lord speak. He said that I had overcome the fear of speaking in front of people. He then showed me a young girl dealing with a certain situation that provokes fear in her and something that she believes she can't overcome. When the song ended, I knew that she was who I was to give the key. I walked over to her and when she saw me take the key from around my neck, she just began to cry.
I love what you guys are doing! It's such a blessing and I can't wait to get my next key!
