Here at our store, Schreiner Goods, we are a very close family and each of us are very special to one another. We not only work together every day, but we also have built lasting relationships with one another, and consider our store a home away from home.
Here is where the story begins. Recently, one of our ladies purchased a Giving Key, for herself, with the word "Courage" engraved on it. She felt it was fitting for her current situation at hand, and we all agreed and encouraged her to purchase it, as it would remind her that she had the courage she needed to succumb her current situation. Last week, we received heart breaking news that we had a loss in our family. One of our ladies lost a beloved family member. This news not only left her devastated, but it impacted our lives as well. To see one of our "family" members going through such devastation has weighed on all of our hearts. As the rest of us reflected on her loss, we came to the conclusion that she was going to have to "accept the things she cannot change, the courage to change the things she can, and wisdom to know the difference." So the "courage" key has been on, in hopes to remind her that the courage to press on lies within her.
