Love for a Band

When I tell people that I love a band, they automatically roll their eyes and tune out of the conversation. What they don't realize is that I don't just love the band for their looks or their fame, I love their music and their message. I love the feeling of happiness I get from hearing their songs and the feeling of pride I get when they finally make it to the radio. So, when I bought my necklace with the word 'love' carved into it, I know i had to give it to one of the people who I loved most, and who made me feel most loved; a member of my favorite band. I know that isn't the point of these necklaces, and that the point is you give it to someone who needs it, but I made up my own rules, and gave it to someone who best represented the word for me. Whenever I'm feeling down, this band brings me up and lifts my spirits, so when I met them a month ago, I gave my favorite member the necklace.
