"I'm so in love I can't think straight" said one of my recent tweets. We met on Twitter (as odd as that sounds) and fell in love.
He has had a hellacious battle with advanced cancer for over a year, yet somehow keeps a positive attitude about life. He has the biggest heart of anyone I know and is always quick to help someone in need. Cancer doesn't stop this man from tirelessly working on charity fundraisers for the blind.
At this point, he has almost beaten cancer after several surgeries, chemo, radiation, and several hospital stays. There is one stubborn tiny spot that will be attacked very soon. He's been through so much and I wanted him to know how much I care, so I sent him the key. I agonized over what words to put on it. There are too many to choose from. I chose "LIFE" and "GRATEFUL" because they are 2 words he uses a lot. I am so very grateful he's alive and in my life. Neither one of us thought we would find love again, but we did and it is amazing. I feel so strongly about him I have a hard time putting it into words. I love him so much and I'm so happy we found each other.
